In Vinh Moc tunnels, an entire North Vietnamese village lived underground to escape anhillation from American bombs. With over 1600m of tunnels, the people tried to live a "normal" life for over four years. Several people where born down here. Vin Moc tunnel is situated a coupple of kilometer just north of the DMZ.
