Eben-Emael

The fortress of Eben-Emael is situated at the Albert-Canal in the eastern part of Belgium. It is famous because of the commando raid that the Germans executed here may 11th 1940. They landed on top of the fort and managed to knock out all casemates within a couple hours. Read more about the fort at www.fort-eben-emal.be
